U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced the resumption of hours at the following California ports of entry: Tecate: 6am to 10pm Andrade: 6am to 10pm Calexico East: 6am to 10pm

As of June 1, 2020 Mexico has begun its phase “Nueva Normalidad” or the New Normal, allowing for a gradual, orderly and cautious reopening of the country. Every week, each region in Mexico will be assigned a color which will determine the level of permissible activity.

I've used Baja Bound for a number of years to insure both cars and motorcycles on trips I've made...to Baja and to central Mexico. The purchase of policies is very easy to do online, and I appreciate the convenience. Thankfully, until recently, I have never had to make a claim on a policy. On a recent trip through Baja, however, bad luck intervened and I hit a cow standing lengthwise in the middle of the highway as I came around a bend on my motorcycle. After sorting out medical issues I made a claim directly with the insurer for towing the bike back to the US for repairs.
